Abbaye Saint-Pierre

Delivering a research collaboration

A useful collaboration needs a clear question, a responsible team and an agreement that can be carried out. This page describes how the Abbey’s contribution is defined before work begins.

What we agree together

  • The research question, methods and intended outputs, with a named scientific lead.
  • The contribution of each legal entity and the operator responsible for access to each asset.
  • The spaces, facilities, records, people and time required, with costs and funding arrangements.
  • Permissions, ethics review where required, data responsibilities and any participant information.
  • Reporting, credit for contributions, publication and the arrangements for any continuing work.

The contracting entity

SAS Abbaye Saint-Pierre is the publisher of this website and the contracting entity for its own contribution. Other estate organisations enter agreements in their own capacity; the SAS cannot commit their assets or obligations.

Due diligence

Before a commitment, ask for the relevant registration, operating permissions, access arrangements and project-specific responsibilities. Portal registration, staffing capacity and any particular contractual or financial arrangement must be confirmed for the project; this page does not certify them.
